Jack Black Plans To Retire After Jumanji The Next Level 2021

Actor Jack Black said he plans to retire after playing in Jumanji The Next Level. The 50-year-old actor plans to retire to spend more time with his family.

Jack Black has started his career in film since the early 90s and has been involved in dozens of films. "I've said for a long time that this is the last film. We'll see," said Jack Black.

In Jumanji The Next Level, Jack Black plays one of the characters in the game. He plays Professor Sheldon 'Shelly' Oberon, who is a paleontologist, archaeologist and cryptographer.

This character was the second time he played in the Jumanji series. He previously appeared on Jumanji Welcome to the Jungle.

Jack Black then joked about the demands he felt in the sequel film.

Jumanji The Next Level tells the story of the four main characters of Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson, Karen Gillan, Jack Black and Kevin Hart returning to the world of Jumanji.

They are Smolder Bravestone (The Rock), Franklin Finbar (Hart), Ruby Roundhouse (Gillan) and Professor Sheldon Oberon (Black).

It's just that Spencer (Alex Wolff), Martha (Morgan Turner), Fridge (Ser'Darius Blain) and Bethany (Madison Iseman) don't get the same avatars as in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017). Jumanji's console game is broken so they can't choose an avatar.

Martha, Fridge and Bethany were forced to play Jumanji because Spencer got sucked in while repairing the game console. Not only the three of them, Spencer's grandfather named Eddie (Danny DeVito), and his friend, Milo (Danny Glover), also moved across the universe.
